Entrance Exam for Sponsorship in Diploma in Nautical Science Leading to (B.Sc.) (Applied NAUTICAL SCIENCE)
Registration Deadline: Monday, 04 May 2026, 23:59 IST
Eligibility Criteria - Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS) program at Fleet Management Ltd as follows:
Age: 20 years or less (at the time of admission) - as on 01st Aug 2026
Education:
- 12th Standard passed in 2025 or 2026 (candidates appearing for board exams in 2026 are also eligible).
- Academic Gap of not more than two-year between passing 10th and 12th standards respectively.
- Minimum 70% in Physics, Chemistry & Maths (PCM) 12th Std (Improvement exam results will not be considered)
- Minimum 70% in English12th Std (Improvement exam results will not be considered)
- Candidates who have completed 12th via Open Board, NIOS, or distance learning are not eligible.
- Candidates must have qualified IMU CET 2026
- Height: Minimum 160 centimetres
- BMI: not more than 25
- Speech and hearing to be in normal range
- Eyesight 6/6 without aid and no color blindness.
- Must clear medical and psychometric examinations before joining the vessel
- Placement as per terms and conditions by FML at the time of employment
Eligibility:
• Should have been born on or after 1st September 2000
• As of the commencement of course, the candidate should not be more than 25 years of age.
• Should have scored a minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class XII or Equivalent
• Should have scored a minimum 60% Overall Aggregate in Class XII or equivalent
• Should have obtained a minimum 50% marks in English in Class X or XII or Equivalent
• Should have passed Class XII or equivalent; OR
• Should be appearing in class XII exam in 2025.
• The examination will be conducted online at our registered test center.
• The duration of the examination will be 3 hours (180 minutes).
• The examination will consist of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), including 100 knowledge-based questions on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 100 questions covering English and aptitude.
• Each correctly answered question is awarded 1 mark. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. No marks are awarded or deducted for un-attempted questions.
• Testing Areas for Section A- Knowledge:
o Questions based on Class XII Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from the approved syllabus of CBSE / ICSE board
• The duration of the examination will be 3 hours (180 minutes).
• The examination will consist of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), including 100 knowledge-based questions on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 100 questions covering English and aptitude.
• Each correctly answered question is awarded 1 mark. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. No marks are awarded or deducted for un-attempted questions.

o Questions based on Class XII Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from the approved syllabus of CBSE / ICSE board
